Customize the toolbar logo and toolbar logo action
To change the default toolbar logo
Create an image file exactly 32 pixels high.
Save the file in the PortfolioWall application folder in uncompressed bitmap format, and name it either:
- logoImage.bmp (the image's background will appear opaque)
- logoTransparentImage.bmp (the image's background will appear transparent; the top left corner pixel specifies the transparent color).
To change the default toolbar logo action
Create a Windows shortcut to the web page, document, folder, or application that you want to open by clicking on the toolbar logo.
Name the shortcut logoAction and place it in the PortfolioWall application folder.
Windows saves a shortcut to a URL as logoAction.url and a shortcut to a file as logoAction.lnk. When you click on the toolbar logo, PortfolioWall first tries to open logoAction.url. If there is no such file, it tries to open logoAction.lnk. If there is no such file, it opens the Alias Wavefront home page.
Customizing the toolbar logo and toolbar logo action
By default the PortfolioWall toolbar contains a logo (consisting of the PortfolioWall and Alias Wavefront logos). If you click this logo, PortfolioWall opens your browser and loads the Alias Wavefront web site. You can replace the toolbar logo with any image, and change the action that is performed when you click it to open any web page, document, folder, or application, start a new email, and so on.
